Description of Work

Reporting to the HR Technician I, this position is assigned to the Personnel Department and is responsible for the processing and application of information, documents, and/or materials. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintaining records using a personal computer, systematic filing system, and must be able to operate standard office equipment. Planning work, understanding and carrying out both oral and written instructions, reviewing completed tasks to ensure accuracy, and meeting daily and monthly deadlines. Assisting with answering (high volume) phone calls concerning Personnel issues, scheduling appointments, tracking employee citations, retrieving and reviewing time sheets for accuracy, entering time into the integrated HR/Payroll system, processing employee personal contact information, creating or maintaining Organizational Charts, functioning as a Health Benefits Representative, creating forms/logs/booklets as needed. Maintaining file systems, processing employee leave requests, updating policy and procedure manuals as needed, assisting with scheduling interviews and compiling interview paperwork, and completing DCI's.
