This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Tabor City - Columbus County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.66 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Adult Correction. This position is located at 4600 Swamp Fox HWY West, Tabor City, North Carolina.
The incumbent will answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff members, serve as receptionist and direct visitors appropriately and perform general office duties.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Ability to explain and interpret program information to clients/customers and staff. Working knowledge of and ability to use correct spelling, punctuation and specialized vocabulary. Ability to utilize office equipment and other technology (software and systems) to meet work needs. Ability to facilitate the flow of work and coordinate office support activities with other staff; ability to maintain internal and external contacts for work coordination. Ability to understand issues, identify problems and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
