About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. The CFO will be a key player in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of the overall corporate strategy, with a strong emphasis on bottom line performance, working capital, and enhancing shareholder value. Strategic management of the accounting and finance functions, including the direct preparation of financial reports and the oversight of the accounting department, is a primary responsibility. The successful candidate will also be involved in budget preparation, audit functions, and will work to ensure compliance with legal financial requirements. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to implement ERP systems to streamline financial processes and increase efficiency, as well as to manage budgeting and forecasting initiatives, providing detailed cash flow projections.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA, CPA, or related designation preferred. A solid background in financial management, including at least 5 years' experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, is required. The role demands a proven track record in organizational change, excellent management skills, and the ability to operate as both a tactical and strategic thinker. Experience in ERP system implementation, strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills, and a history of successful leadership and team management are also essential. The CFO will be expected to have excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a history of effectively partnering with IT staff in managing financial systems.
