About the Role The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to join their team. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a hands-on approach, responsible for the day-to-day operations and the development and maintenance of the annual business plan. This role requires a leader with a strong background in management, particularly in a private club or hospitality setting, who can effectively manage the club's key assets and ensure the delivery of exceptional service to members and guests. The GM/COO will also be tasked with providing leadership to the Board, Committees, Members, and Staff, and must be adept at balancing the diverse interests of the club while meeting its business and financial objectives.

Candidates for the GM/COO position at the company should have a minimum of 5-7 years' progressive leadership experience and a preference for those with a background in a similar private club or hospitality operation. The role demands a professional with a strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of success in working with member boards and committees. The GM/COO will be expected to coordinate and implement Board policies, ensure high member satisfaction, and manage the club's budget effectively. A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred, although substantial experience in the industry will be considered.
