Overview:
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 40 hours/week , M-F, 10:00 6:30 p.m. during the school year,
8:30 a.m.-4:30 during the summer day camp program and 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. when program is not in session.
Job Focus: Provide leadership to the Learning Center after school academic enrichment program including direct supervision of program assistants and volunteers at the after-school learning center sites and assist with student recruitment. Develop curriculum and distribute lesson plans to the Lead Program Assistants, conduct and monitor Curriculum Based Measurement Assessments on students, maintain a database to monitor results and development appropriate academic intervention strategies for students determined to be at risk.

Qualifications: An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Armys mission and ministry Bachelors degree in Education required and lesson planning experience required. Strong experience using Microsoft Office including Excel; ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, charts, tables, etc. Proficient writing, time management, speaking and organizational skills. Two years of working with elementary/middle school children, in an afterschool program setting preferred. Current first aid, CPR, communicable disease, and child abuse training preferred. Patient and energetic Ability to maintain ODJFS standards for employees and program operation if applicable. A valid Ohio Drivers license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards. The Salvation Armys Mission Statement
