The successful candidate will be responsible for the proactive and strategic leadership of the organization, overseeing all initiatives, and driving growth. This role requires a leader who can manage budgets, develop partnerships, and ensure the effectiveness of programs, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Executive Director will be expected to foster stakeholder relationships, including alumni, and maintain a strong presence in the community. Operational management, including the supervision of staff and the production of events, is also a key aspect of the position.

Applicants for the Executive Director role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit cultural arts organizations, with a proven track record in public relations, marketing, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities, particularly Black, Indigenous, and Latinx, and a strong commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices. Experience in media, video, filmmaking, or digital arts, as well as an educational background, is highly desirable. The Executive Director must possess strong communication skills, a collaborative and relationship-oriented personality, and the ability to lead with vision and determination. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, and the role demands a leader who is resilient, flexible, and able to handle sensitive matters with care.
