We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment. Facilities coordinators are in charge of the maintenance of a building. Facilities coordinators oversee all activities inside a building, making sure that health and safety standards are met and arranging for repairs when needed.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Manages the daily work and safety of sanitation associates engaged in building and grounds maintenance, sanitation, refrigeration systems, powered industrial equipment and security
Manages the proper selection, purchase, utilization and inventory of powered industrial equipment used in support of the operation
Coordinates efforts with Safety department to aid in training by conducting associate observations, updating preferred work methods, conducting accident investigations to determine root causes, and conducting routine safety inspections
Enforcing labor agreements including requests for overtime
Observe and promote Company standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity
Performs personnel functions such as:
- Specifies maintenance plan and strategy for machinery
- Orders tools, equipment, and supplies
Required to work flexible schedule as needed
Qualifications
Ability to work in multiple temperature environments
Basic understanding of building systems (mechanical, electrical, security)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance- related role
Must have a valid state issues driver's license
Technical Skills –Technical skills in manufacturing machinery and facility maintenance
