The role involves representing clients in insurance defense litigation and providing legal counsel. Duties:
Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Engage in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Develop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and senior attorneys.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
Manage case files efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Mentor and guide junior attorneys and paralegals as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Indiana.
2 to 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Thorough understanding of federal and state court procedures and rules.
Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
