In the role of Performance Lead, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities for on-site associates. This role focuses on orientation, attendance tracking, performance coaching, and building customer relationships. In addition, this role is designed to support, remove obstacles, and sets an example for the SIMOS team members, ensuring proper client services are provided. Additional job-related responsibilities and duties may be assigned as necessary.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $20.00-$25.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. Essential Job Functions: ASSOCIATE MANAGEMENT Conduct orientation for new associates and track attendance. Responsible for successfully organizing and executing the daily workflow plan to ensure hourly associates meet the daily order volume and deliver expected customer service. Oversee daily activities of employees in various areas to ensure work volume and service levels meet production standards. Coordinate staff and operations in a logistics distribution environment, assigning daily work and providing necessary training. Coach employees on production performance, quality standards, and productivity goals in an hourly environment. Coordinate training to ensure all associates are properly trained, and all training is documented. SAFETY PROGRAMMING Ensure a strong safety awareness and safety culture. Lead and control activities of up to 20 - 30 associates in multiple job functions. Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. REPORTING & TRAINING Communicates with SIMOS Operations Manager on matters of employee discipline, safety, vacations, attendance, and policy-related matters. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years experience in a production-driven logistics and distribution environment Strong technical proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience training and supervising people Entrepreneurial spirit, someone looking to take ownership and work for results Our Culture:
