SUMMARY Keeps the service entrance bay and technician bays clean and tidy. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.ESSENTIAL DUTIES Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •Washes shop truck, inside and out. •Cleans for lift and power equipment. •Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside. •Removes all debris from the lot. •Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures. •Removes any old scrap parts from the shop after checking with the parts manager. •Returns cores to the storage area. •Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs. •Runs errands as directed by the service manager. •Sweeps technician stalls and service department floors. •Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. •Reports any safety issues immediately to management. •Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations. •Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. •Keeps current on all training requirements, such as GM training, Compliance training, and other training as assigned by the manager. •Sets a good example by maintaining a healthy work demeanor and cooperating with other managers and fellow employees in a positive spirit of teamwork. Represents Puklich Chevrolet positively when out in the community. MARGINAL DUTIES Marginal Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. •Completes alignment diagnostics on vehicles as needed.
