Job Responsibilities Preparation and review tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returnsConduct tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date tax knowledgeIdentify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goalsAssist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirementsSupport the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgetsBuild on mentorship capabilities by guiding key talent through constructive criticism and growth opportunitiesLead and supervise staff by actively managing a pipeline of projects and resourcesMaintain great relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide a tailored service Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or a related disciplineMinimum of 3 years' experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accountingMinimum of 1 year experience in supervising the work of others, including delegation, training and development of staff and interns Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in TaxationCPA or equivalent credentialExperience with a wide variety of entity types
