Responsibilities Performs ultrasound sonographic procedures in accordance with established procedures.
Demonstrates age appropriate care towards all customers.
Consistently demonstrates competence in performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations with special attention to abdominal, retroperitoneal and vascular scans.
Assists with minor Ultrasound invasive procedures (cyst aspiration and biopsies).
Obtains and relays information related to exam.
Educates patients about exams, adjusting to patient/staffing needs.
Provides support to Ultrasound Department to aid workflow.
Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or
Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire
New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
2 years OBGYN sonography experience
