We are seeking a dedicated Maestra de Inglés to join our team at a private school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating students and creating a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Educate students in the English language, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum
- Manage classroom behavior and create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Conduct standardized testing to assess student progress and proficiency in English
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and student welfare initiatives
Requirements
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
- Proficiency in English language teaching methods and techniques
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and behavior management strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred
- Certification in childcare or teaching English as a second language is a plus
